Terms of use
Last updated: 30 September 2026
These terms govern the use of DivStart by anyone who visits the platform or creates an account on it. By creating an account, you accept them. They apply in the same way whether you buy, sell or recommend offers.
1. About DivStart
DivStart is a platform that connects members who offer services, digital products, courses and missions with members who buy them. DivStart provides the tools to publish, order, pay securely, message, gain visibility and track activity.
DivStart is not a party to the contracts concluded between members: the seller remains responsible for what they offer and deliver, the buyer for what they order and the information they provide.
2. Accounts
Sign-up only requires an e-mail address and a password. A single account lets you buy, sell and recommend offers; these activities can be turned on or off at any time in the settings.
You must provide accurate information, keep your password confidential and report any unauthorised use of your account. The country declared on the account decides which withdrawal methods are available.
Three plans are offered: Free (€0), Pro (€9.99 per month) and Agence (€49.99 per month). The features of each plan are described on the Pricing page.
3. Services
The seller describes their service precisely: packages, delivery times, the number of included revisions and the information they need. An order starts when the seller accepts it.
The buyer approves the delivery or requests a revision within the limits of the package. Without an answer, a delivery is considered accepted 3 days after it was sent.
4. Digital products
A digital product is delivered as a download in "My digital purchases" as soon as the payment is confirmed, or made to order when the seller says so. The chosen licence (personal, commercial or extended) sets the permitted uses; reselling the files is forbidden unless stated otherwise.
A refund can be requested within 14 days of the purchase; it is reviewed by the seller, then by DivStart in case of disagreement.
5. Courses
Access to a course is personal and cannot be shared. The certificate is issued once the conditions set by the trainer are met (lessons completed and, where applicable, quizzes passed).
The trainer guarantees they hold the rights to the published content. Course updates remain available to enrolled learners.
6. Missions
A member can post a mission with a budget, a deadline and a description. Professionals answer with an application and, if the client wishes, a detailed proposal.
An accepted proposal creates a contract. Each milestone is funded before work starts, and funds are only released to the provider once the client approves the milestone.
7. Payments
Prices are shown in the currency chosen by the seller (Ariary, euro or US dollar) and paid in that currency. Amounts in different currencies are never added together: a cart containing several currencies is paid in several steps.
The amount paid is held by DivStart until the order is approved, then released to the seller minus the commission. No processing fee is added to the price paid by the buyer.
8. Commissions
DivStart takes a commission on each sale: 15% with the Free plan, 12% with Pro and 10% with Agence. The breakdown of each sale is shown on the order.
When a sale comes from a referral link, the member who recommended the offer receives 10% of the amount paid by the buyer, in the order's currency. This commission is taken from DivStart's share: the price and the seller's revenue do not change. A link is attributed for 30 days after the click; the commission becomes available 14 days after the order is completed and is adjusted or cancelled in case of refund.
9. Withdrawals
Available funds can be withdrawn from the wallet. Withdrawal methods depend on the country declared on the account, not on the currency of the funds: in Madagascar, PayPal or Orange Money; in every other country, PayPal.
The minimum withdrawal is 10,000 Ar, €10 or $10. A withdrawal is processed within 24 to 72 business hours; a rejected withdrawal is credited back to the balance.
10. Responsibilities
Each member is responsible for the content they publish (texts, images, files, messages) and guarantees it complies with the law and the rights of others. Illegal or misleading content, counterfeits, bypassing the platform's payments and abusive solicitation are forbidden.
DivStart may remove content or suspend an account that does not follow these terms. Boost and the SEO tools improve an offer's visibility, but no search engine ranking is guaranteed.
11. Disputes
If the buyer and the seller disagree about an order, they first talk through the messaging. If no agreement is reached, a dispute can be opened from the order, up to 14 days after it was completed.
The DivStart team then reviews the messages, deliveries and documents provided, and decides: delivery approved, full refund or partial refund. Funds stay blocked during the dispute.
12. Account deletion
You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time by writing to contact@divstart.com from the account's address. Ongoing orders, contracts and withdrawals must be completed first, and the available balance must be withdrawn before deletion.
After deletion, your offers and public page are no longer visible. Information about past transactions is kept for the period required by accounting and legal obligations.
